The
PC Quilter software consists of two
basic parts: the CLI, or Command Line Interface; and QT Menu (also
referred as the GUI, or Graphical User Interface).
On a day
to day basis, you will never see the CLI version unless you really
look for it. It contains all the basic information for talking to
the PC Quilter. The GUI Version
is the standard “point and click” Windows-type version of the
software that is the communication vehicle between the user and the
CLI program.
Here are
the main menu buttons:
|
Reads the pattern file and adjusts it to fit
your quilting area. Also controls the PC
Quilter and activates the sewing machine. |
|
Pattern Digitizer - creates patterns from
bitmaps or by tracing images. |
|
Train the PC Quilter
how hard to push on the foot control of a sewing machine. |
|
Select path for PC
Quilter software and patterns. |
|
Opens PC Quilter
